There are ways and means of doing things. No one is gonna credit a load of internet fishwives for highlighting his actions. Safc on the whole will be tarred with shit, again.

Surely anyone seeing this thread will see lots of Sunderand fans condemning one moron?

(plus one permanently hysterical messageboard policeman)

Well done to you x

Ill arrange for every mention world wide of this incident in future to be accompanied with a link to this very thread

Just went on the Daily Mail sport site on my lunch break and see we are headline news for all the wrong reasons.

I know what I thought when I saw a Chelsea fan doing this, can only imagine fans up and down the country are thinking the same about SAFC..

I reckon this lad needs a serious punishment, a lifetime ban is far too lenient. I propose a lifetime ticket - every time we play he has to go to the game and we make him report to the stewards pre match and at various intervals during it just to make sure he is sitting through the whole f***ing thing, that'll sharp teach the bastard.

Tough game for you lot 2moz?

Why are you still insisting I am a mag? I go to more Sunderland games than you  I've met plenty on here who now I'm not a mag.

If that is the best you've got I suggest you go away and find some better crack.

Is the idiot aware of the trouble he's in?

well the one doing the Monkey gesture is more of a friend of a friend.. the lad making the wanker sign has disabled his Facebook account though so I'm guessing they're both a bit rattled.. I imagine the kid doing the Monkey is shitting it like

Are you saying we should brush it under the carpet.

I'd ban the f***ing moron for life, we don't need this type supporting us.

I was having this discussion yesterday. Child killers are given a minimum sentence but aren't jailed for life because as a society we believe its against someone's human rights to say they have no chance of reform. By simply dishing out life bans (that are often just ignored anyway) the club is doing little in the way of preventing racism. Racism often manifests itself due to a lack of education on the matter.

If I was the club I'd offer the offendant the chance of either take a course on anti discrimination and a 5 year ban or 15 year ban and a large fine for bring the clubs names into disrepute.

Not sure the club want to be going down the road of fining supporters.

Look at him copying the Chelsea supporter. Monkey see monkey do. The irony.

He shit it on Saturday too judging by the speed at which he disappeared.

If anyone puts a blot on the reputation of the club then of course the club has every right to make an of the offender. I would hope most people would take the course and the lesser ban anyway.

I agree. I also don't think it's the clubs job to educate the dregs of society around here and offer them help. There is other avenues for this, not a football club.

Football clubs have done things in and around the community for years but when it comes to educating people on racism you suggest we turn a blind eye?

I wasn't suggesting we ran the courses but there must be ones out there we could enrol people on to.
