don’t think he was imo, he mentioned asset stripping in all departments at the club which is exactly what SD & CM have done - they’ve cost cut to the extreme leaving it to need rebuilding in most areas of the club / business

I doubt it. I think KLD is essentially on his own, he presumably could say they’ve got to pro rata match him but unless the new contracts say they have to I don’t think anyone could enforce that. It may be that was the delay in signing off, if it’s clear to EFL that they won’t be investing anything there’s a bit more risk for KLD to mitigate.

Somebody mentioned on another thread he was involved in another company with a minority shareholder causing issues and wouldn't sell.
The other shareholders just invested more, as he couldn't keep up his shareholding effectively dwindled till it wasn't big enough to have any say anymore.

So if one party invests and the other doesn't, his shares effectively get watered down accordingly.

If so it seems a very simple way to get shot of them.

Not if the money from KLD comes in the form of a loan to the club. They only have to match or be diluted if there's a share issue.
