are you a glasgow lad.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

what the fuck did you expect? Boyd, an ex Rangers player, is the main topic on the thread ffs. Yet another bitter anti-old firm individual. Is the whole of Scotland like this?

not bitter at all mate, and my experience of scotland is like this apart from those supporting the old firm. my best mate is a killie fan, the other a jambo and both hate the old firm as much as we hate the mags due to the general jizz fest the media pour over them up here as much as it would should rooney and gerrard ever concieve together. 90% of the fans up here from a recent poll are against the proposed new 10 team league yet the powers that be are planning on going ahead with it anyway, why? because the old firm are the power in the league.

for the sake of this topic though, boyd was/is shite and thats why he was deemed unwanted by rangers. he scored goals but still wasnt their first choice because he didnt look arsed from whenever i saw him. you can score goals but when you look lazy, fans/coaches always try to get more out of you (see jones) and boyd was simply not up to that so was let go

why would the o.f. want a ten team league?

don't buy that for a second.

SFA and Rangers go hand in hand- not Celtic though

You're either on the wind up or you really are an idiot.

The point is, he's an average player who is capable of scoring goals in a superior team.

Do you think players would score less goals if they played for better teams?
You are saying a player who can't score for shit at Boro would score a boat load for a team like Man United. Yet it seems Fergie and all the other managers in the top flight obviously disagree with your stupid opinion, yet apparently i'm the idiot :lol::lol::lol:

No, he's not. He was always a fat, lazy twat who's only attribute was kicking a ball into the goal.

Ignore the fat waster and concentrate more on Bannan and Adam.

He made a perfectly valid point. Boyd is very good finisher, and at Man Utd he would get plenty of goals. They didn't sign him because he does fuck all else. And not in the way that Darren Bent apparently "does fuck all except score", Boyd quite literally does nothing else.

He doesn't work hard like Bent, he doesnt hold the ball up very well, he doeasn't get involved in anything outside the box, and he's even fatter now than he was at Rangers. But if the ball fell to him 9 yards out, I'd bet a lot on him scoring it.
Scoring goals against Hamilton, Falkirk, Hearts and Dundee is slightly different to scoring goals against Arsenal, Man City, Sunderland or Liverpool on a regular basis. There is a reason why he signed for a Championship club, its just a shame you deluded Jocks can't see that reason:lol::lol:If a ball fell to any striker 9 yards out i'd expect him to bury it especially against some wank Scottish goalie and defence

You seem to be very confused. Perhaps reading is not your strong point. Nobody has said he is particularly good (the complete opposite in fact). Just that he is a good finisher. The size of the goals don't change. He can't do anything else, and for any good side, he'd be like playing with 10 men for the majority of the match.

I don't really understand why anyone in England (who is English) would give two shites about suppoting either of the OF. Funny how if someone is 'half-Scottish' or whatever they don't support the likes of Dundee United or Kilmarnock, it is always either of the OF :lol: . It is no different to Man Utd 'supporters' in Wales or Ireland really - fu(k all to do with Manchester or Manchester United. One lad on this thread defending the OF is the first to slag of 'plastic fans' at Old Trafford, yet, it appears he himself is plastic.

On a wider note, the League up there is just not every good and the likes of Hooper would be nowhere near the starting 11 of most English PL teams. I hope Scottish football pulls itself around despite the heavy anti-English sentiments of some Scottish people and the odious nature of the OF.

I can't read but have actually read several times that he would score a shit load for a superior club despite the fact the only club really wanting him were a struggling Championship side who signed him on a shitty 2 year contract. yes he is a good finisher against poor opposition in the SPL but he has been found out in England to be one of the worst strikers in the Championship.:roll:

They are all half Scottish and have links to the club when asked how come they support Rangers/Celtic:lol::lol:

:oops: :oops: :oops:

and you have the nerve to see Rangers play the victim card all the time. You know fine well that Rangers get nothing from the SFA or the SPL. The fixture pile up bollocks in the run up to the UEFA cup final proves everything you need to know my friend.

All this, "well my Mam is Scottish so I support Rangers/Celtic", is just bullshit.

I'd have a lot more respect for English people who support either of the OF if they were just plain honest and said;

"I support Celtic/Rangers because I am a glory supporter and/or, I support Celtic/Rangers because I am a bigot"

I'm giving up. f***ing pissing against the wind with this guy like.

:lol::lol::lol:

It's not just a song from a musical that you share with Liverpool. A ridiculous sense of victimisation as well.

it's fact

give a credible reason why this would be the case?

Not your friend.

:roll::roll: I'm thick.

What about weather and postponements?

Increased amount of games because they had that run. Got to both the cup finals. How the fuck you can complain about that season is beyond me.

I would say that almost any striker would score more goals playing Man Utd than almost any other team in England. He would struggle to get a sniff against the clubs you mentioned (Chelsea, Arsenal etc), and a few more (not against us mind), but he'd have about 20 games a season against the likes of Blackpool, WHU, WBA, Birmingham, Wigan, Stoke, Newcastle, Bolton, Sunderland etc.

He'd not break any scoring records, but he'd still a bag a few.

They even have a website on it. :lol::lol::lol: Even worse than Liverpool fans. Both Celtic and Rangers receive generous refereeing decisions, especially at home.

How is it funny?

So you can see some f***ing stupid decisions here yes? ok then. We're in agreement.

loadsa the other spl sides may feel aggrieved. But nothing as obvious as this goes on. You can see that.

f***ing broadfoot penalty

laffert v mulgrew
lafferty v brown

bougherra not getting sent off in the game last year where edu scored last min goal- he made about 10 fouls.

Kevin Thomsons diving and staying on the grounf for about 5 mins with a big fukin grin on his face behind the arm that was covering it
