Father Jack Hackett
Striker
Is he the most stark example of the gap between the SPL and even the Championship? They mentioned on Late Kick-off last night that he's the all-time record goalscorer up there.

Thought he would have been banging them in if I'm honest.
Scott McDonald had a good record and he's done very little at Boro.
I think you'd find if either got into the premier there'd be investors come out of the woodwork. Celtic especially are a sleeping giant in terms of brand name, and I've no doubt they'd get backing in their first season to help them survive and to go on and do very well.the old firm would struggle badly if they ever got into the Premier League. Relegation would happen and they'd slink back off north of the border
That's not entirely fair likes.
He does very little (if anything but) put the ball in the net. He needs service which he got loads of for Rangers and isn't getting any at Boro.
He's now really fat.
He wasn't even considered the best striker at Rangers when he was top scorer.
It's certainly not a great standard in the SPL, but the top 5 or 6 clubs are at least as good as championship standard.
There are more Scottish managers in the (English) Premier League than there are English managers.
Scottish football has suffered more than here because the foreigners they have brought in are such low standard, anybody who doesn't make it darn sarf can become a superstar up there. No young Scots coming through, we will suffer more and more here, partly why England struggle so much
Do you reckon mate? Admittedly, I don't watch much Scottish football these days but Kris Commons apart, not many have really done much down here at Championship level for a few years
Same amount I think mate - 6 each
Edit: 7 English and 6 Scottish
I would be the all time leading scorer in Scotland if I played for either Rangers or Celtic.
Barry Bannan, Danny Wilson, James Forrest, James McArthur, Robert Snodgrass off the top of my head. The cream of the crop James McCarthy looks to have chosen Ireland though.
talk of him switching allegiance to scotland as he not getting called-up
