I see he is being rested for the tour to NZ, anyone know if he will be playing IPL at the same time?

He's only been left out of the ODI series which is in February. IPL isn't on then.

If he plays in the IPL the ECB would have to allow it.

It looks like it is only the ODI's he is being rested for so should be available for the tests and T20s.
