KP Retires

We had great success with KP in team so it certainly didn’t seem to effect the teams performance. He’s obviously arrogant, cocky and clearly wasn’t part of the dressing room ‘clique’ but he performed and to me that’s all that matters. Not as if he was humping another players wife or kicking fuck out of people. In life you won’t always get on with people you work with. Believe it or not there might even be some people who dislike me, unbelievable I know ;)
People might not like you? I disagree with that mind! Not as if you’ve ever done anything to nark anyone

We replaced him

We haven't replaced Trott.

No shame on Pietersen for the way he treated Strauss and the rest of team. Good riddance.

By the way, get your facts right, Strauss did not sack KP

He was already fired and then went on to right the back, nobody in their right mind could have called him up

Strauss sacked him. Everyone knows it was personal, and everyone knows English cricket suffered as a result.

Yet those who mocked him on public social media - from within the dressing room - were allowed to continue without consequences. They were in Strauss’ clique.

He was asked to score runs to justify selection (which was a joke in itself given his record). He scored the highest first class score in England for 20 years. Not good enough apparently. Don’t make me laugh.

He was the most important England player of his generation. He didn’t account for England’s dominance himself; but he was the catalyst for all of it. He changed the mindset and the results followed.

Strauss didn't sack him.

That is just a lie. Strauss was a Sky Sports commentator.

FFS

Are you joking? Were you in a coma during the Nasser Hussain era? Sounds like you started watching cricket in 2005?

Again the fact you think Strauss sacked him means this conversation is pointless, as its just not true.

Great player in my opinion

Don't give a toss what anybody else thinks

And mine. Never enjoyed watching any other England batsman more.

Incredible talent.

Why do I get the feeling we’ve done this dance before, and you had to come back with a new username?

Strauss didn't sack him mate, that is a fact. There are mountains of evidence to support me on this point.

Pietersen a very good player, but as I say Nasser Hussain and his team changed the mentality.

Yeah entitled to your opinion

For me a very good player who played some great innings.

We miss Trott more though.

Absolute nonsense. Trott will be forgotten. Was a good turn for a short time and then couldn’t handle the heat.

England legend, no doubt about it at all. him and Flintoff in 2005 destroyed the Aussies

No we do

Again, Strauss didn't sack, like how you are avoiding this fact again as you clearly got it wrong?

We have Root, Stokes and Bairstow scoring heavily at extremely high scoring rates, we miss Trott more.

Pietersen has been replaced.

Nobody could dislike you. I’ve never seen anyone wear a scarf so well indoors.
