Aye. You make good points. As I said, just venting about the shite situation we find ourselves

It is frustrating mind because we need to get some players in fast. Moyes said players needed time but we're playing them. He's perceptive enough to say we've wasted a fortune on expensive but average old pro's and he's trying to avoid that but the space in the middle is a shite place to be.

We only have one fit central defender now so I think it forces us to keep him and hope his back gets better.

Possibly bullshit, but the "personal reasons" were between him and Moyes is what I was told yesterday. Something that goes back years.
Heard off who? Him or Moyes? they have never worked together before so i would hazard a guess that thats bullshit

So people have been speaking to short from nights out and at the match and it appears that 'Kone is going no where'

I personally don't believe that to be true. Also, I think we should move him on. He isn't training, nor is he acting like a professional. It's to a massive detriment of the team when we needed him the most. Having to play in John O'rigamortis and Chodwell at centre back FFS. The fact Kone is actually fit and has a 'bad back' is taking the absolute piss. Get the money in, we should have weeks ago and get it spent.
Couldn't agree more anyone who wants the greedy bastard to stay is a utter moron

I think you are right to say it is sad that we have to rely on the players we do but to call JOS is a bit ridiculous really given he's never let us down. He's probably surprised to be in the first team himself.

I could only see that happening if we were in a strong financial position and a team that can compete in the league, we have neither.
His position in the squad in untenable and what effect on the dressing and relationship with Moyes, I can only see one sensible way out of this and use the money to strengthen the team / squad. Since it blew up I could only see one outcome anyway and it would be a major shock if he is here come end of the window.

It'll be better on 1 September when no fucker makes a bid for him because they see him as a disruptive influence!

When will people realise that 90% of footballers have shit attitudes and are just out for themselves, happens at every club just we seem to sell if the player is saleable. It doesn't benefit us long term as we've seen, we end up buying shite like McNair and Love as replacements

True enough. Just like it's wrong to slag off young kids like Love and McNair - it's not their fault they're playing! What a bloody mess we're in!

Moyes has done the right thing in telling him not to train or be at the club. We'll see over the next few days wether anyone makes a bid and if not he's got a big decision to make. Sign the new contract and play or sit on the old one in the ressies or even no game time at all. If I were one of his team mates I'd be bollocking fuck out of him

There appears to be a group of four black French speaking players who all seem to get along very well last season.

All of a sudden, all four players appear to want out or are being pushed out. (In M'Vila's case not asked back)

Surely it's a clique in the club which Moyes wants shot of???

Maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting five here, but that's what it looks like to me!

If moyes wanted rid of Kone, why offer him a new deal?
