Kone

Whatever kaboul's reason was my take is that it was a planned departure. Kaboul approached the club to leave and papy (who Moyes probably rated higher most likely) was brought in as his replacement. I actually think Kone and papy would be an imposing force together, but probably too late for Kone.

There appears to be a group of four black French speaking players who all seem to get along very well last season.

All of a sudden, all four players appear to want out or are being pushed out. (In M'Vila's case not asked back)

Surely it's a clique in the club which Moyes wants shot of???

Maybe I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting five here, but that's what it looks like to me!

His fault we lost yesterday. I do not believe we would have lost that game had we not had to move Rodwell back from CM to CB. We were left massively short in the middle.

I can't be the only one that thinks when Kaboul went to Moyes and asked to go back to London that the answer should have been no surely? If his kid is ill then fair enough but that sounds like a load of shite that someone's made up.

Tell Kone to get on with it as well and that he's back in the team next week.

I honestly think it was a commercial decision once we were aware he was unsettled. A chance to lower the wage bill. A rank bad football decision

We need cash but selling him before he puts in a transfer request would mean that we would clear next to nought profit after paying loyalty fee & sell on clause. He either officially asks for a transfer or we keep him.

Aye this, you can't have your cake and eat it

I think we should work hard to get as much as possible for him. Name a good price and start the bidding and get it spent. I don't like the slagging off of other players mind. In light of the way the club has been disrespected ( imho) by formed manager, agents, players and even country then those taking to the field and working hard to adjust and do their best should be applauded. To be fair Rodwell after adjustment did ok. The club should have delayed Kabouls departure until after yesterday though and have a lot of work to do.

Kone has been a shocking pro and i cant see how he could ever play for us again. I want us to piss him off, butas usual its the club that suffers.

The Kaboul thing... Obv something serious, but surely there were workarounds until we got a replacement lined up, ie send a bloody personal trainer to london with him and fly him back on match day or something - to simply hand him to watford for almost ne fee beggars belief.

So people have been speaking to short from nights out and at the match and it appears that 'Kone is going no where'

I personally don't believe that to be true. Also, I think we should move him on. He isn't training, nor is he acting like a professional. It's to a massive detriment of the team when we needed him the most. Having to play in John O'rigamortis and Chodwell at centre back FFS. The fact Kone is actually fit and has a 'bad back' is taking the absolute piss. Get the money in, we should have weeks ago and get it spent.
Oshea has lost a bit of pace but he has been nothing less than a model pro since he got here. I've never been his biggest fan but it's harsh to give him shit like that. For his professionalism he should be first name on the sheet.

Aye. You make good points. As I said, just venting about the shite situation we find ourselves

Possibly bullshit, but the "personal reasons" were between him and Moyes is what I was told yesterday. Something that goes back years.

Interesting. Saying that mind I would hope that it's not his kid. That would be awful but I am really not sure what is the actual reason. Whatever it is, we have lost a very decent centre back for 3m.
