Knee jerkers all ower!

Said that on here the other day, we need a double hard box-to-box bastard in the centre, like a modern day Vinnie Jones. We also need a similar centre half and a left back that can tackle and defend.
Totally agree pal. In Lg1 under Jackett we
had the likes of Kevin McDonald James Henry. Not deemed good enough for the championship at that stage. Even Sam Ricketts. Seasoned pro’s. And Ince and Irwin for us up from the Championship. It’s a physical league you can’t be bullied out of a game. Hopefully Speakman has targets in Jan.

We could do with a better manager whilst he's doing the shopping. I'd love to see Mark Robins here but that's never gonna happen for a variety of reasons.

I hate the knee jerkers, happy clappers, doom mongers, or whichever description people chose. Either side of the debate/arguemrnt,
On Tuesday we were all chuffed, and from
what I saw today, when the team was announced, everyone seemed happy with it.
We can’t all support the managers team choice at 3.00pm and then blame him
-at 5.00 when it went belly up.

Hi Janey

Everyone wasn't happy with the First X1 today - can't understand how you arrived at that conclusion - baffling tbh.

Going to be a few more as well at this level.
Exactly the right call, ffs relax we are in November.
Decent players, decent position, decent cup run and still in the pack.
KTF.
You're a great poster Swindon lad but some of the recent league results we've had have been unacceptable for a club with our proud history and the current financial backing we enjoy. I hope we can turn it around but this result is shocking.

Normally respect your posts but this is totally reactionary. Today was shite, lets see what happens Tuesday, I'd like to thingk we see a reaction like Man U's today.
If not I'll bow my head to your post and hoping for more as things can only get better surely.
Fair enough.

Today was embarrasing.

Nobody will be happier than me if we win at Sheffield and Johnson proves me wrong.

I do get it mate but just not now as would be absolute madness.
Definitely would give him another transfer window.
If you don’t go up this season then he will get the bullet.

We have hit a drop in performance spell from the majority of players
This will happen to the other clubs over the course of the season
We need to regroup & react . Daft thing is if we win our games in hand we go top
This place is more dramatic than a box set of casualty

If it was a person it would be diagnosed bipolar.

There is some who have went over the top but there is genuine cause for concern. We're a soft touch.
The warning signs where there when we scraped to victories against Accrington and Bolton etc, but I was hoping as we where a new team and evolving that these results would be a spring board for better performances later on.
The hammering by Portsmouth set massive alarms off for me and the last two games have compounded the fact for me that we aren’t good enough for automatic and it’ll be a play off again

Well lots seemed to be happy when the team was announced, and I drew that conclusion from seeing and reading that with my own eyes. So it wasn’t baffling to me.
But, if you saw different that’s fine because differences doesn’t equal baffling, it would be a strange world if we all thought the same

If they don’t go up this season my old Wiltshire mate it’s a disaster. He didn’t play their best defender last season ( Sanderson on loan from Wolves ) until he was forced too. He’s never won promotion and every time he had a run in the Championship he ended up losing about 5 on the bounce. Johnson’s old man was a better manager. I’d be worried as a Mackem.

Quite. We haven't been convincing for a while.

Yes, we should be head and shoulders over Rotherham on the pitch. I assume they have players that could improve our team considering how easily they swept us aside today, if that's the case, we should be signing them.

As much as I enjoy making fun of the mags, they would refuse to stand around and accept gutless, unacceptable displays like today. They would not stand around watching double relegations without a whimper.
Have we stood & watched double relegations without a whimper ?
Must have missed that bit

Bolton had a bloody good go at us too and I feel we were lucky not to get beaten. That was prior to the recent poor shows.

There's been a few. I know we're not always going to have it our own way, but there's a few where it's been very close and we've capitalised when other teams aren't. Up to a few weeks ago people were concerned with goals for, but at times we look really open at the back.

I can't recall any protests. Many were defending them til the bitter end. People on here were pleased with the Grayson appointment, worse still people were defending the Parkinson appointment. Short got off very lightly.

Calm the fuk down, we were out played man. Just move on! 👍
4th year in the 3rd Division and you're suggesting we just accept this utter rubbish. It's the opposite of knee jerk. This is the lowest this club has experienced. I bet you would give Johnson another go if we don't go up this year. Knee jerk? Don't be an idiot. We've had 4 years to get to this point.

I'm not suggesting sacking the manager at this point but we've got nearly 5,000 fans going to Sheff Wed on Tuesday night. If we carry on like this we'll get stuffed again. Results like this are not, and should not be, acceptable for a club of our size and proud history. Something has to change.

The problem is Janey those of us who aren't convinced by Johnson dare not mention concerns or you get rounded on and called amongst other things a knee jerker, bed wetter and an arsehole. Wtf is it with people calling fellow fans arseholes for having entirely valid concerns about the capabilities of our head coach. The insults are almost entirely from one side of the "debate".
