A lot of these foreign managers like to moan about this. Surely it's the same for every club so therefore not a disadvantage.

if they had a winter brake, they would only fuck off to Tawan or somewhere to play a pointless (but money making) friendly...

Should be nice to him.
If ( perhaps when ) we get relegated maybe he can put a word in with his former assistant Wagner to come and be our manager.
Seems proper

I don't think he's whinging about being at a disadvantage, he just thinks 2 games in 48 hours with travel included you virtually can't prepare a team. Plus there's obviously a higher risk of injury.
It's crazy really but it's the same for everyone and I love it.

what is there to prepare? They are playing sunderland. We are in the bottom three for a reason. Burnley easily beat us without trying. they should consider today a training game.

Allardyce made similar criticism with us didn't he?
Aye. Moyes did the same when at Everton. He mad a good point about having a 2 week break during the ACON in January. I'd be in favor of winter break tbh.

Great for the fans alright but I can understand why clubs hate it. But it's TV who rule it. Why can't all teams not play at the same time? Or at least all on the same day?! I don't think the fans would oppose a winter break but Sky and BT would.
