Klopp hinting at rotation

You dominated nowt man. What did you create? You played well in terms of high intensity, closing down, effort. Not much quality at all, and certainly didnt dominate for 80% of the game.
We obviously watched a different game. We were on top, or untroubled, for 80% of the game

Unfortunately we have a woeful attack, therefore did not dominate in the way of chances created, so you're correct on that front

In what way were you on top marra? You back to false result claims cos you had more possession again?

All I saw was a lot of effort and desire, but not much else. If you arent creating and doing not a lot with it, where is the domination? Serious question by the way, no piss taking.

Take the goals out I can only think of two good chances, one fell to them, the other to you at the death.

They didn't, City did.

The only things they had more of were corners and fouls.

Nope, just stating that your interpretation of 'going for it' is obviously different to mine. Granted, my interpretation might be a bit skewed due to our performances so far this season

We didn't sit back, roll over, bottle tackles, misplace 10 yard passes and get humped 4 or 5 nil like we would have 4 weeks ago. Therefore compared to recent performances yes we went for it.

I didn't claim we were the best team in the world, or say we are staying up because of this result, or say will are going to batter Liverpool. I simply stated we have to go for it tomorrow, and I think we will, as we have to, which was my original point

FWIW I think we'll nick another 1-1, but if not then we'll move onto the next game. I also think you will nick a 1-1 so it'll be as you were come Sunday teatime, with time running out for us. I'd swap your position with ours in a heartbeat, and I think it's yours to throw away. And I wouldn't be surprised if you try to throw it away and we don't capatalise on it, but the Man City performance has given me a little bit of hope

I too think a draw tomorrow.

Klopp To Make 8 Changes

Liverpool will have one eye on their Europa League semi final when they welcome Newcastle to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Goalkeeper: Klopp handed Danny Ward his debut against Bournemouth last weekend but I have a feeling he’ll stick with Simon Mignolet on Saturday having recalled the Belgian against Everton last night.

Defence: The Reds boss is expected to make wholesale changes from the side that thrashed their Mersey rivals with Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne all rested ahead of the Villarreal game.

Jon Flanagan could come in at right-back while Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Brad Smith should all get another run out in defence.

Midfield: With Emre Can and Jordan Henderson out through injury, Lucas Leiva could retain his place in midfield but otherwise I expect plenty of changes with James Milner rested and Joe Allen coming in while youngster Kevin Stewart should get another chance to impress.

Attack: With Divock Origi suffering an ankle injury last night, Klopp is going to have to protect Daniel Sturridge and rest him against Newcastle. With Christian Benteke and Danny Ings still injured, it leaves Liverpool light of options up front which could see Roberto Firmino start through the middle.

Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana are sure to be rested ahead of the Villarreal clash so Sheyi Ojo and Jordan Ibe could come back in to the starting eleven after impressive run-outs at Bournemouth last weekend.

fuck sake :(
