Kissing automatic promotion goodbye

One things for sure, if we adapt the op’s approach we’ll be lucky to even make the play offs. There is no doubt that losing Maja is a massive blow. It really is.
The owner(S) have to rectify that this week.
We have the squad to knuckle down and get a promotion on their cv’s. We have the passion, we have the crowds, we have the players, over to you Mr Ross.

You're just like gaggogoogogears, arrogant as fuck.

They're the opposite side of the coin to us. They've had a couple of years when everything's gone right for them, and they've forgotten things can go very badly wrong. They're assuming the current state of affairs will continue indefinitely. Whereas we've been kicked in the nadgers for the last decade, so much so, that even when things start to go well, our assumption is that the next kick is just around the corner.

Theres a few things wrong with this. Under Ashley things can and do go badly wrong. Now that Sunderland have hit the depths of third division its now assumed this is now standard measurement of suffering but thats not true. Newcastle still have standards of winning Division 2 no matter ignominy of relegation. Am prepared to state that Newcastle will never end up in third division of English football in anybody lifetime on this board. Until Sunderland rapid collapse through leagues wasnt that much to separate the two clubs other than Newcastle 5th place one off.

I was thinking that. Everything seems to have gone perfectly for them recently, and it'll be interesting to see if the wheels fall off when things don't go their way.

They'll probably point to losing their manager and carrying on their form, but it's early days on that front.

Forgetting things can go wrong. We spent 5 years in the conference we know exactly what can go wrong, what utter tripe you spout

Apart from 6/7/8 in a row of course ;)
