He started off with nowt.

He fought against anti semitism and the Hollywood bullies.

My youngest watched ‘the vikings’ and Spartacus recently.

He’ll always be a bit of a cinematic hero to a lot of people.

They're moving into conspiracy theory territory. Yes, there's plenty online about the incident, but it's all (at best) third-hand hearsay and no charges were ever brought (unlike Kobe Bryant, who settled a rape allegation out of court). People have had more than sixty years to pursue the case while Kirk was around to defend himself. It's a bit low to ramp up the allegations the moment he dies.

There's another actress (can't remember who now) who claims she was raped by a Hollwood great but would only reveal who after he died. Widely believed to be Kirk Douglas. A few other stories have been doing the rounds about him for years too.

I don't get a great feeling about him to be honest, will be interesting to see if anything comes out about him now he's dead.
