Kirchoff should walk back in the side?

Are you trolling me?

:lol::lol:

Dunno why this made me chuckle. He was only asking a question mate.

We really have to move away from this broken model mate.....there's far too many key players who are too old, too slow and always injured. We need a team with a core of players who play 30-35 games a season (PL) and 40 or so in the Championship. If you look at last season's PL champions and the likely ones this season the one thing they have in common (Kante aside) is that by and large the same X1 are starting week in, week out. I remember (as you no doubt will) when we were going on those really long unbeaten runs under Reid and it was largely the same X1 lining up.

Whist I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment. Am I being too self defeatest in thinking sometimes we have to buy CatD Mercedes or TWRs because that's all we can afford or attract?

The question should be really, can we afford not to put him in?

He has to play. We need something different, something inspirational and his performances last year were heads and shoulders above the rest of our midfield. His game against Man City was probably the most assured midfield performance I can remember for SAFC.

He might not be able to acheive what he did last year, but surely we have to give it a try?

Did Moyes even make a substitute before December?
Not a decent one that's for definite and if he had his own way he wouldn't ever make one at all,I mean I totally understand our free flowing football could be jeopardised upon the slightest of disruptions

Good player but made of glass. If he gets in he has to try and stay fit for more than couple of games.

If all our players were fit we've have a decent squad. Still would need another striker mebbes

Even half fit he is our third best player behind Defoe and Pickford.

He's wildly overrated and always injured. He is still better than Gibson and Larsson but it;s a pointless argument because he's never fit

How can someone make it to sign a professional contract without being injured then is a constant sicknote?

I'm not singling anyone out but the games littered with players like this. It boggles the mind.

Kirchov cattermole anichebe and rodwell are all injury prone. arguably barring rodwell the other 3 would be regulars if fit in our 1st team. We simply cannot afford to carry these wankers in our predicMent. Get rid

Based on the way our midfield have been pissing in the wind, he should defo

Kirchhoff played very well when he came in last season. Him being a tall lad makes a big difference for us, in the run in last season it seemed like he won headers all the time.

If we can get him, Catts & Anichebe fit for the Watford game and keep them fit for the last 10 games of the season they could make a huge difference. Also think we'll see a big improvement in NDong if he's playing amongst Catts & Jan. The lad never stops running, I think he'd compliment kirch & Catts very well, similar to MVila last season who did a lot of running for the two of them. Although Yann admittedly had a bit more class about him.

Pickford
Jones O'Shea kone Oviedo
Catts Kirchhoff
NDong
Januzai defoe anichebe

That team is a hell of a lot better than what we have been putting out so far this season. Picks itself for me, aside from possible januzai/borini and maybe O'Shea/Djilo. Although I do think O'Shea should keep his place. He can get the defence organised and they'll be under less pressure with Catts & Kirch in front of them.

Anichebe showed the difference he can make in his 3/4 game run. I would say he's the biggest worry in terms of staying fit.

Imo that team would beat Watford, hull, Boro & Bournemouth. A win at Burnley plus those 4 and an odd couple of points would likely see us safe.

I think depending on how we do in the Burnley, Watford & Leicester games, Moyes should consider resting Kirch against the likes of Man U and Arsenal. Keep him fit & fresh for the games we have most chance of a win.
