Just some crappy local band in Houston called Satin Hooks. Mate is a producer and they were in his studio. Didn't want to listen to him about anything, their sound was rubbish.

Saw them at the city hall before they were massive and they were class, saw them at the SOL and this is exactly what happened, no one knew any of the songs bar sex on fire.

The third album had some cracking tracks on it even the sell out fourth album had some good songs on it, all shite since then mind.

Look a shite band to watch live, everything sounds good but they always look like they can't be arsed.

The early stuff is good but saw pictures and vids of them before listening and refused to go any further

On BBC 4 now. Tragic what happened to them

Band appears full of freshness and pomp
Bit of a buzz ,great early gigs attended by the ones who know
They break and everyone can't get enough of them
Early fans decide they aren't cool anymore
They bring more stuff out and unless it's amazing it's songs from a band everyone knows and that has limited appeal plus there's a new band around ! Repeat

This, I saw at them at the arena earlier this year, enjoyed it, they've got a large back catalogue these days so it was almost like 3 shows.

This for me, latest album was decent.
