Kieran McKenna perfect fit (managerial suggestion)

Now that would be unlikely. I am of the opinion that, given the fact that Sunderland had doubts in the summer, whoever they are going for they will know that they are interested and would come. Like when Stoke came for Neil, if a manager wants to go they will, but I can't see McKenna giving up what he's achieved at Ipswich. That said, there's no way I'd expected Neil to be interested in the Stoke job.

Throw cash at him, make him think about the decision.

That doesn't seem in keeping with what they;ve said.

Agree this is a pipe dream really, would be pleasantly surprised if not, because he'd surely have options in the PL if he gets Ipswich into the playoffs, given his pedigree and age.

My first thought on hearing about TM going was to go for McKenna. On the face of it it might seem a very ambitious target but in football you just never know. If you don’t ask you don’t get.

Got to be honest didn't want mowbray here at first but have grown to like the bloke, but a perfect fit for our young players at this moment in time would have been McKenna think he's destined for big things in the future shame we didn't get him
Won't leave Ipswich they will go.up

I think the lesson from Neil is that he wanted to live somewhere else, more money and more control. He also doubted we would do so well I think.

McKenna is in the driving seat to be in the PL next season with a pay rise, better players etc. There are fewer reasons for him to jump ship
