Kicking off

When you need to bring in 20000 more fans and make it more affordable you bring in a new element of scum. West Ham are by far the biggest set of knackers I've come across on my travels with their shit patter. The hanging around outside the stadium looking for specific people was scary for my daughter. Especially when a scuffle broke out and around 5 security stormed in. Lovely council house they've got there but they don't deserve it.

It isn't a pleasant place to go.

The fact that you know they're not shy of carrying knives make you more wary, especially as they'd been shouting they'd be waiting outside ........ and there they were
Bleat bleat bleat.

Minutes after final whistle there was a number of skirmishes by the away exit, slightly to the right. Stewards could hardly control it. When the WH realised the Sunderland were standing their ground they backed off. We walked down some steps again to to right adjacent to the concourse and saw police horses charging a large group of WH who were trying to intimidate a group of around 20 Sunderland who were heading towards were the Stanley disabled fans coach was parked. We were heading to Hackney Wick station.
There will be hell on here on Wednesday when 5000 Chelsea descend!

We came out and started walking to go to Stratford international mingling with West Ham supporters - stewards were trying to cordon area off - when a steward saw the club crest on my jacket - told me I couldn't go along the concourse, for my own safety I had to go down the stairs, to where the away buses were parked. By this time other family members had gone through the cordon and had to call them back, walked over to the stairs, started kicking off....with a police officer & steward, then it kicked off over near the buses.

Stewards & police had no control, even though they were trying to take control, but they just seemed to make things worse.

6000 I heard? - let's hope for their sakes it's a mob of Chelsea's new supporters. The old Chelsea would have had the stadium shut down for good.

Good job that shit is all behind us now and doesn't happen.

That is wholly unacceptable state of affairs..there should have been action after game one rather than leaving decent families open to such confrontation. But the authority's don't give a shit for the normal fan...has it really moved on since Hillsboro...when it was legislation which shamed the football industry into action.

It will take some serious disorder, a high profile or live game and then the powers that be might act. Meanwhile Bournemouth, Watford, Saints, Boro and us all get ignored.

walked past the two police horses next to the buses and said this happens every f***ing week down here and his reply was "what happens every week? Are you here every week?" as if it's not widely reported then a couple West Ham fuckers piped up and started calling me a grass whilst shouting at the police on the bank to lock me up for being a grass. Dense fuckers.

I hope its, against Chelsea as they deserve each other....do the authorities not realise that this will encourage tit for tat retribution at the east enders away games...then it becomes the norm. Head in the sand the people who run football

Walking back to the station a few West Ham were talking amongst themselves, on about going back for our lot. Others were saying save it for Chelsea as it's gonna happen....

Like you say it's all behind us.

I'm not even going to try to defend the small number of total tools involved.

However to make out that West Ham have a higher proportion of idiot fans than any other team is a load of balls.

I was on Hackney Wick station after the game and there was plenty of Sunderland fans mixed up with us Hammers and not a sniff of trouble.

The issue is because of the ground layout the exits are not segregated in any way which means the stupid and/or drunk pillocks can get very close to the away fans.

I think the only answer for games against Spurs, Chelsea and god forbid a cup tie against Millwall is to keep home fans in for 20 minutes after the game to let the away fans disperse.

The efforts from those who are there to protect were pathetic after the game. I'm glad I won't be visiting after the game and god knows what will happen when your rivals visit. Absolute shit hole it is.

I was there (in a red and white scarf) and had and saw no bother at all.
On the contrary, I saw lots. More than I've seen since our first visit to Stoke. It had the same feel without our fans being kept in a compound. The policing was a disgrace.

This was the main problem, absolutely daft set up.
