He's not in their team at the minute and is available for loan.... They don't want him, he's currently a reserve player

 Behave man. He wasn't Laudrup's signing apparently and has therefore had a fall-out with him after he's brought his own in to play. Reserve team players don't play 90% of a team's fixtures and this season is only 2 games old.

He's only out of the team because he fell out with the manager. He's a big improvement on what we have

I'm not knocking the player, I'm knocking our ambition. If Swansea have an injury free season then he's obviously going to be a squad player and not start regular for them ....... That's why they are willing to shift him onto us.

i hope he's good and improves us, i think he'll probably be better than what we have in CM at the minute. I just don't think, especially with losing Sess that we are making enough progress and will struggle this season even with Ki in the squad.[DOUBLEPOST=1377958791][/DOUBLEPOST]Hope so

What a f***ing shite argument! You do realise that Swansea are currently better than Sunderland don't you? So even if a player can't get into their team on ability alone it doesn't mean he isn't good enough for us.
Also, it's been pointed out why he isn't in the team and how many games he played last season, but you just keep ignoring it eh?

[DOUBLEPOST=1377959003][/DOUBLEPOST]You're knocking our ambition? We're looking to add a player who will immediately become our best central midfielder.

Read my original post..... The one where I'm knocking us for letting Swansea be so much better than us that we loan their unwanted players.
Surely you agree that a club the size of us and who have spent god knows how much on shite since we came back up (Gordon 12m, Ferdinand 8m etc etc) have wasted money and opportunites to the point where we want shooting with shit for being inferior to Swansea f***ing City?

I'm not knocking the player in any way - I will have seen him play in the past, he's never stuck in my memory but I really hope he's good for us and improves us. I'm just not excited by the signing one bit.

You don't know this for certain though, he might be complete shite for us. Remember, Gardner was also a £6m player once.... We were the mugs that paid that for him.

We have no devine right to be better than Swansea f***ing City though. I never get embroiled in the whole we're bigger than them argument. As far as im concerned big clubs win things and the rest are just the rest. We have to earn the right to be better than other clubs and so far we haven't.

We paid £6million for Gardner because he managed to get ten or so goals in that particular season. No other reason. Ki is a million times closer to what we need in CM than Gardner.

DiCanio apparently wanted this done in time for the Palace match. Still can't see him playing today.

officially a sunderland player confirmed by safc.com

Excellent addition, for once a player who is part of a system.

We had Keane playing strikers as wingers
Bruce playing the 4-6-0 system
O Neils genius counter attacking system with zero pace

Now finally PDC realises how football works
