Absoutely agree. Some people seem hung up that it's a loan. Seriously... who cares if it keeps us in the league and gets us playing better football.

This. Players rarely say at a club longer than two years anyway. We're getting him cheap for a season. Where's the problem?[DOUBLEPOST=1377938852][/DOUBLEPOST]
If he is so good, why are Swansea letting him go?

Genuine question as i dont know much about him.

Apparently wasn't a Laudrup signing and they had a bit of a fall-out.

Oh i see, good to know as i thought we were getting another Danny G.

Think it's because we constantly have loan deals and never have a clause to buy leaving us with more problems at the end of the season.

I have reservations about the nature of this deal but good luck to the lad. I cant say that I know much about him at all and am looking forward to seeing him play. Hopefully he is a level up from the existing less than averageness in CM.

Means to an end though, we have struggled to key key players.

as it seems we have much of a muchness in CM i would welcome a loan who might just be able to offer something different.
vorn, gard, seb will run around all day, all have a decent strike on them but none seem able to find the 'right' pass and prefer to keep it simple, cabral, have not seen enough of him in the team to make a fair judgement but with the right partner we might see more of him.
there is nothing to stop us from looking for a permanent signing to come in for the next window but who knows how a loan would respond to his time here?
welbeck loved it here, rose loved it here and had the clubs decided they were surplus we may well have ended with them here.

Slight different scenario this time round surely. Rose, Evans etc were sent out on loan as youngsters to get them game time. It suited us just as much as it did Spurs and Man U.

We've done so much business this window already that replacing a couple of loans after another season in the premier league really is that much of a big deal is it?

FFS give the lad a chance. He played very well last season and can pass a ball very well. He is better than what we currently have in the middle of the park.

No your right it's not a big deal as we are desperate for a CM.

It becomes a big deal at the end of the season when we need to replace him and have to buy a good quality midfielder. Just look at the Rose deal. If we had an option to buy we probably would have got him for say 5mill but we didn't and now we are in this position where the transfer window closes on Monday and our only left back is Colback.

I wanted us to sign Ki as I think he is a good player but I was hoping we would have had an option to buy clause in.

great news. Quality player. Will see a huge difference with his passing ability in the team[DOUBLEPOST=1377940713][/DOUBLEPOST]Those siting the rose loan as an example wait until the window's closed eh.

Loaning players from Swansea? Shows how far they have progressed whilst we have stagnated. You could even argue we have gone backwards since the "10th place" season

We probably have thanks to Bruce's disaster last transfer window.

Aye, it would have been better. Though I expect the new team will look at it as breathing space to source a permanent replacement of equal or better quality, as opposed to just saying 'he was never ours anyway' and not bothering to do anything til he leaves the AOL car park.
