. I'm not surprised he doesn't want to play in the championship, he signed to play in the premier league.
Didn't they all ?

If he does leave, I just hope it's not on loan. I'm not surprised he doesn't want to play in the championship, he signed to play in the premier league. That's not to say that he won't honour his contract and help us win promotion this season.
Simon Grayson hints at Sunderland future for Wahbi Khazri and Jeremain Lens

Cheers, good news. Let's hope they stay as both improve our side.
Excellent post I too was one of the few tearing my hair out at Moyes' treatment of Khazri. He brought Pienaar on in one game ahead of him and he was puffing like an owld steam engine 5 minutes later. Ridiculous! But when you said "nowhere near as influential", it suggested he wasn't influential. I mean all three did their part and for me Khazri's input was just as important as the other two. The points above clearly evidenced this.
The lad is a good player.
Moyes hung him out to dry for some strange reason last season and even stranger for me, the majority on here sided with Moyes. I was only one of a few that actually stuck up for Khazri and questioned religiously why he wasn't playing. Sure enough, he was brought in late in the season, showed Moyes up as he was a stand out player in a poor side. Moyes was then forced to persist with him but still singled him out harshly at times in post match interviews.
The fans on here effectively turned on Khazri last season, they did all they could to defend Moyes' useless decision not to play him. Khazri should have been an ever present. Would it have changed our season? Unlikely. But, I'm sure we'd have picked up a few more points along the way.
As noted a few times on this thread, we should be doing all we possibly can to make sure we keep him this season.
If and its a big if, we have those 2 playing regularly next season, then we will be serious promotion contenders imo.
I don't think either will be.There is zero chance lens will be here
I don't think either will be.
100% agree. Mentioned a few times, I'd rather him here, making a difference and winning games for us, than 2 average players costing the same.We should make keeping khazri a priority. But we won't
That was Quinn's philosophy sell big and then buy two or three with them money , never works .100% agree. Mentioned a few times, I'd rather him here, making a difference and winning games for us, than 2 average players costing the same.
Yeah Januzaj and Borini were
Not like we were losing every game
