unless we get decent money (at least our money back) for him we should tell him to get his head down and get on with the job as he'll be a massive (no pun intended) asset in this league

fully expect us to peddle him out on loan somewhere though

Why would we need to get rid of him because of his wages, if they've reduced?

Why would we need to get rid of him because of his wages, if they've reduced?

Probably because we as a club, and the manager who signed him, have been known to hand out massive contracts with ridiculous wages to get players to join when we're in the shit. If we offered him, for example, 50k per week that would mean he's on around 30k now with a 40% reduction and I'd imagine we can't sustain that for more than a handful of players. Cattermole, Rodwell and co won't be moving on because of injuries/being shit so we might need to get the big earners off the books wherever we possibly can.

Even in the championship we could afford £30k a week wages whilst the parachute payments are propping us up. You'll also see championship wages reaching those sort of figures as standard soon.

Even if he has had his wages reduced he will still be on at least 30k pw and that would cover 2 players in this league.
Why pay that if he doesn't want to be here?
It just annoys others if he is on twice as much as them and not even trying.
If he is on loan maybe we get half or more of his wages and maybe a loan fee.
So many budding roy keane's on here who want to show who is boss ( and what a success he was, ipswich anyone ).
We can't afford to cut off our nose to spite our faces attractive as the satisfaction is to the spite filled in our midst.

Depends on how committed he's going to be. If he was to stay and give it his all he could be the difference between going up and not. Don't know what figure he's on. Usually clubs don't have to thesedays due to the parachute payments but we are so badly ran.

We picked up at the end of Allardyce's season in no small part because this lad actually chased people down. Don't think he's ever had to come off too tired like.

Adults 'body shaming' a guy that can play a 90 min PL game is frankly ridiculous.
Don't listen to those nasty people Khaza, tuck your belly in your shorts. It's just puppy fat. Body shaming? Have a word with yourself, he's a bit chubby, so, but we cannot say that! Well I just have. So Khaza, doing well but put the kebab down and put some graft in.

Worra plonka ...

For a young athlete he looks to be carrying too much weight. Ps get rid of the belly now, it was much harder when i got older.
I'm good at losing weight even though I love me food and beer. I sit in the West stand and saw Khazri jogging up the line whilst warming up. He looked a lot slimmer than several others who were playing regularly. He's big boned. ;)

That's where I sit and I thought just the opposite at the start of last season.

If he is overweight and I very much doubt it, he is still capable of putting a shift in and more than capable of both scoring and making goals. A bit surplus lard is neither here nor there. Didn't do Gazza any harm. Like I say I think he's big boned the physios would go apeshit if he was genuinely overweight. Like a lot of myths on here this one has got really silly now and needs putting to bed.
