Kevin Muscat

Lacks the credentials and experience we need, would be a gamble, can't see him working well with Speakman, and is a prick.

No idea what style of football his teams play.
Hated him as a player though, dirty bastard but other teams probably thought the same about Ball

Possible option?

Managerial stock been on the rise over the past few months, linked with Rangers and Millwall previously.

Proper radgie so would appease the Roy Keane obsessives but has and continues to actually work as a manager in the past 10 years.

Aussie who has plied his trade in Japan a la Postecoglou so could grab us some bargains.
No thanks.

Too angry to manage our delicate team imo.

I remember George McCartney taking him out with a dodgy challenge which the referee didn't even card (did Muscat's knee ligaments in)

I was only growing up when he was playing.

Why are peoples feelings so strong?

Genuine question, I know he made some bad challenges but I can remember he scored an own goal at the sol..

He walked past me down the touchline at Old Trafford when he went off in the 2004 semi final. I’m not one to abuse players normally but I considered him a total arsehole who seemed to go out to purposefully end people’s careers.

So I gave him dog’s. Got a tap on the shoulder from a steward to tell me to calm down or I’d be out. But I’d do it again. Every time.

An absolute utter, utter bastard.

I lot of comment seem to be from his time as a player (when he was a dirty twat), more interested in his time as a manager and couldn't give a shite if he rubbed us up the wrong way as a player .
