Sorry if SEB.

Shocking behaviour the other day to deliberately prevent Evin Lewis the chance of a ton (not sure if it would have been the quickest?) by deliberately bowling a no ball to end the match.

no idea what you're talking about.

in a world of spot fixing and that bowling deliberate no balls sounds like class behaviour. I assume we're talking about some t20 league or other? classy.

I believe the CPL authorities are looking into it. At best it's awful sportsmanship, totally at odds with the spirit of cricket - at worst however, deliberately bowling a no ball is akin to match/spot fixing isn't it?

I wonder what Mohammad Amir's view of it is.......

In a CPL game. Pollard bowling, the batsmen was on 97, his side needed 1 to win. Pollard deliberately bowled a no ball so his side would lose, but the batsmen wouldn't get his ton.

Not only is it poor sportsmanship but also showed the lad has zero confidence in his own ability.

Indeed.

Basically happy to throw the match rather than give the lad a shot at his ton.

TO be fair it wasn't a wide and the batsman could have tried to hit it and chose to duck instead. I don't think Pollard thought I'm going to bowl a no-ball so he can't get a ton. I think he thought we have lost anyway so I'm going to gain an advantage and bowl a half hard closer and bang it in

Something out of nothing if you ask me

Except his foot was about a yard over the popping crease - it was a front foot no ball, not a bouncer no ball.
