keep o'shea on the bench

O'Shea is the most professional footballer I know. Disgraceful that you are calling him part of a rotten core. I admire O'Shea for what he's achieved in the game and what he's done for us while he's been here, our best defender since he signed. Reliable and always gives 100%. A class act.

Fuck off.
Reckon even Charlie Hurley deteriorated to the point where he had to be replaced. Went to Bolton. There now John that would be ideal for you.

He has to be brought back in as captain. Two players need him more than most in Cattermole and Van Aanholt but the teams organisation as a whole is infinitely better when he plays. Another thing noticeable from Saturday was the lack of talking from players, contrastly watch when O'Shea plays, particularly with Brown (though I wouldn't start Brown) I'll be disappointed if he's not in the side on Saturday.

Feel very sorry for O'Shea, been told he's surplus to requirements in a team that has conceded 7 goals in two games to Leicester and Norwich, clearly he is not the problem, he may not be the solution either, but he's a good organiser and superb captain.

Great organiser, that's why he is needed at this moment in time.

Id have Brown as left back if PVA doesn't get his act together. Mind you having said that, wholesale changes will hardly help things.

We will soon see how good a manager DA is when things are tough.

I would rather have Mathews in with O'shea at left back than brown at left back primarily but nothing can be worse than PVA at this moment in time.

I don't really buy in to the rotten core. If we had that and Dick knew about it Brown would be gone, O'Shea would have been publicly transfer listed and Catts wouldn't have got a new contract. We may have a couple, Fletcher doesn't seem the most professional for example but I don't think it's as bad as people make out. We do have a few poor players but most are better than they've shown so far.

I'd play O'Shea but then Dick can't win, in previous instances not playing people and giving them a chance has led to criticism whilst playing them whilst they're playing their way in to form has been criticised. Coates and Kaboul will only get better by playing together and I think Dick knows more than me about this footie management malarkey so I'll trust his judgement for now.

The op's an utter balloon but wasn't it O'Shea who cried to Maggie when that big meany Di Canio took away they're ketchup and worked them hard in training?
