Keane Lewis Potter

Or Clarke stays and we sign Potter. Unsure why people are mentioning Clarke.

It stands to reason to my mind.

They both play in the same position, were searching for value in the sub 1m bracket but we may just fancy rotating our most valuable player with an extremely costly player?

3 fantastic players, 2 of which have developed to the point they can play 90 minutes consistently well. The other will do in time. Big difference is they can all be subbed off, they don’t have the pressure of scoring goals, they don’t have 6ft 6 experienced defenders out muscling them and kicking them up in the air from behind. I could go on and on. There is a reason why strikers, cost more to buy, cost more to pay and inevitably have to be a bit older and more physically developed to be successful.
How many strikers start off on the flank or as a number 10 or in a twin before they graduate to leading the line ... e.g Henry, Ronaldo and Rooney
To play Hemir up there week in week out is not fair on him, Mowbray knows it why can’t everyone else see it?
Neil can play 90 minutes consistently well? Just me that’s seen his games with numerous mistakes or complete anonymity in midfield? Ekwah is way ahead of Neil. I think Rigg will be a better player than Neil fairly quickly.

He can play either side though. Look at the highlights from his Hull days. He could be Amad's replacement:

Good in the air too.

Neil is a cracking player. He didn't stop at the weekend, scored the goal to get us back in it and went the closest to getting an equaliser.

The lad deserves more praise than he gets.

Not the players just that Diallo was completely written off after a few games last season. Hemir hasn’t even played 70mins yet and the same knackers are saying he’s not good enough.

Young players have got to get minutes under their belt before they start showing how good they can be.
I think it's exciting how many quality young players we have. Much more exciting seeing how they develop rather than watching the same journeymen players join our club.

They're working on bringing a striker in, we've been unlucky with injuries, no doubt they'll bring in another, but perhaps they weren't initially planning on it and still hopeful of agreeing a deal with Stewart. Who knows.
He's and easy target for some reason.
Much like Clarke amazingly. One of the most entertaining players I've seen at SAFC, but that's always overlooked and some go way over the top when he's not at the races.

Couldn't agree more. The post you quoted is utter nonsense

That's utter nonsense btw, regularly the player who makes the most passes and completes the most passes. That doesn't come from anonymity

Yea, but he's right footed right?

We seem intent on playing inside forwards and that's where he has played most of his stuff.

It just doesn't seem within reason to me unless were getting that money and we have that hole to fill.

All nonsense anyway imo.

Mowbray has been mentioning Clarke being able to drop into more central positions in recent interviews. Lewis Potter can play accross the front as well. Potentially this could be a way of replacing Amad.

Not sure how relevant that is, Stewart had never nor had Amad and they did alright. Yes the new guys are young and they need support from a more experienced striker that will hopefully happen in the next few weeks as well as Stewart returning.

I'd like the think Dack will be adding a decent amount of goals from midfield, as well as Clarke, Roberts etc. It can't all be on the strikers.
We are 35 goals down without those three

who will make up that defecit

bevause we have bought a striker to go into the first team..he played saturday and wears no.9
we also had defoe up here..he was for the first team.
they bought djaku for the first team, turns out he was shite.

so we know they are happy to sign first team strikers for money

Defoe cost nowt barring his wages (probably covered by the added ticket sales from the Doncaster match) and Dajaku was as much of a striker as Eddie the Eel was a swimmer.
