The fans have to show patience, the problem is, we're not used to a development approach, but we better get used to it sharpish. It's the way forward. The problem with that is the recruitment team is paid by the club to achieve what the owners want - that is a sustainable club that funds itself through developing young players and, in time, selling them at a profit.
By and large, that is not what the supporters want - we want a successful team that wins promotion to the Premier League, and we want it now.
While the two positions are not entirely mutually exclusive, because we could win promotion while buying and selling young players, the club owners have shown they are not going to buy a team to win promotion.
Because we have 1 available. 1So why is mowbray pissing his pants about needing a striker?!
because stewart is injuredSo why is mowbray pissing his pants about needing a striker?!
I don't think he is. The fans and media are making it worse than it is.So why is mowbray pissing his pants about needing a striker?!
Why would you doubt it? We managed to sign a £30m player on loan from Man Utd last season.I'd doubt it, he's a squad player so unless were paying his wages and selling them Clarke to replace. Looking at about 2m for the season on its own, so unless its built into the deal, it wouldn't feel like our set up at all.
After one game.My eyes tell me he isnt ready. Cheers
He'll have to fight for his place, it won't be guaranteed. Can he not play centrally as well?he aint leaving brentford to be not first choice at SAFC..
Two kids ... yes, 1 is injuredWe’ve bought 2 so far this summer.
This general escalating group panic is becoming nauseating. I’m sure we’ll buy a third, please can everyone calm down
Seems like it.Are we allergic to strikers?
Why would this have anything to do with that? It's possible to sign a winger and a striker, just FYI.
Is it?Not if you don’t have the funds for a credible striker ? Which is clearly the case

What I think alsoThink the OP is talking waffle mate.
Whether you like it or not the likelihood is you won't see that type of signing. Hemir was brought on for the 1st teamStop being so patronising. We haven’t bought a striker Who can go straight into the first team since LND and even he was introduced slowly

People are moaning on, I thought Ekwah, Bellingham and Neil looked class at the weekend and they're still only kids, in a few years time they are going to be top players.
Fuckin hell man...That'll be Clarke away if true.
