Keane Lewis Potter

Yes we need a striker, everyone knows this and i've no doubt the club are working on it. People have also made observations that we don't have much depth in wide areas once you take clarke/roberts out. Lewis-Potter would be a quality addition to our squad.

Surely people don't want the club to stop working on all other areas of the squad to focus solely on strikers? We need a couple more additions and not just in the striker position. Absolutely no negatives to this move whatsoever.

The problem with that is the recruitment team is paid by the club to achieve what the owners want - that is a sustainable club that funds itself through developing young players and, in time, selling them at a profit.

By and large, that is not what the supporters want - we want a successful team that wins promotion to the Premier League, and we want it now.

While the two positions are not entirely mutually exclusive, because we could win promotion while buying and selling young players, the club owners have shown they are not going to buy a team to win promotion.
I'm not even sure I'm enthusiastic about getting promotion to make the numbers up. Which is all we'll be doing

I agree with this. Adding more quality to any department is positive as long as there is room left in the budget for other critical areas

Can't just buy prem squad players whilst in contract without something drastically going wrong at their club. Same as Lewis O'brien, they earn about double what our top earner does.

Tis a nonsense I tells ya.

I'd imagine it would be a loan. So very doable

Looking at Brentford supporters reaction online to the season starting he’s going nowhere. They see him in the first team. Whether the owners do is another thing mind.

It's nice to see you've given him time before making that decision
Mowbray confirmed he is there as reserve and develop into 1st team player or something similar

You can criticise all you like but we are only going to go backwards as is hemir with him playing upfront on his own right now.

That was the other lad. Hemir is here for the 1st team. That's abundantly clear

I'd doubt it, he's a squad player so unless were paying his wages and selling them Clarke to replace. Looking at about 2m for the season on its own, so unless its built into the deal, it wouldn't feel like our set up at all.
