Kasey Aldridge

Like who minto hogg and kileen are playing
Aldridge wouldn't have been allowed to come without some guarantee on selection which means he'll be ahead of Minto and Killeen. Durham are short of experience in seam bowling for the the 4 day game but this should have been addressed in the close season with permanent signings. Connors doesn't appear to be an asset from the little we've seen of him.

Is McAlindon deemed unselectable at the moment?
He's not looked up to much

Has to be a Balance mind if they think this lad can come in and perform straight away then fair enough

Very underwhelming signing first class average of 23 with the bat and 39 with the ball.
Somerset offered him a new deal.

He got called up for the Lions too. Defs a good player there.

Unlike Glover and Conners this a much better pick up from another county.

In relation to his record he's 24. I imagine if you looked at Carse and Coggers records at a similar age they'd be similar. Plus he's only played division one cricket too.

I just fail to see what he is mate is he a batting all rounder a bowling all rounder his record is average. I was not overly impressed by his bowling in the T20 bar the one good game.

It looks simply like a squad filler signing I don’t see be better with the bat than any of our established players.

His record with the ball who put him as a 5th/6th level seamer.

Hope he does well but not the type of signing we need.

I feel player recruitment is key and have found some of our recent pick ups a bit odd.

You’re looking for a signing to have a lot of scope to improve or instantly improve the squad I feel he does meet either of those.

We shouldn't be signing players on "imagines". He's not a youngster at 24 hence those statistics are underwhelming. Notwithstanding I hope he does well.

Probably seen by Somerset as a 'block' to up and coming players with a bit more potential.

Still...best wishes to the lad.

His stats are mixed I agree but I know for a fact he’s very highly thought of by a lot of people in the game, who think this is a bit of Great deal for Durham

Let’s see if it pans out tho
