Kane £103m

Shearer's record is relatively meaningless imo.

Football didn't start in 1992.

Premier League records are a useful heuristic for the "modern era", but no more than that.

The record even does Shearer a disservice as he scored goals in the old First Division on top of his Premier League goals.

It would be a bit different if he was going for Jimmy Greaves' all time record.

Would piss him off somewhat. The arrogant tosser

Think he will remain a Spurs player Levy is such a petulant child. £103 is totally fair if I was Kane would just see the year out and go where I fancy.

he'll go there for 3 maybe 4 years and then they'll buy him back for a nominal fee. will pickup a bunch of trophies over there and then can still come back with time to get the record. win win for him

Or he could score 45 before Xmas for Spurs and then leave still picking up medals
