But it's not a trophy...it's a line in the records book. And as others have said, the PL is not football history, only very recent history. Shearer is a long way off the top flight's all time record.

Like somebody already said signing for Bayern is a bit meh! Get they are a European super club but if I’m moving abroad Germany isn’t anywhere near the top of my list of countries to relocate to. Nobody is really that interested in the Bundesliga, he’s not going to surpass or get near to being a Bayern legend like Lewandowski, yes he’ll be win silverware but the same would be true if he moved to Celtic. He’d be better off seeing out his contract at Spurs and then taking his pick of clubs, go somewhere he really wants to go.
