So you do go to the games then? How come people think you don't?
Not one person who actually knows me thinks I don't go to games. I don't go to them all but usually get to around a dozen a season. Last season I only got to 4 as my old man wasn't 100% so I watched games on a stream with him.
I've stood at roker in crowds as low as 6-7k in Anglo Italian cups, I was there in the seasons leading up to our new stadium move when we regularly had crowds of 12,13,14k which miraculously trebled when moved to a nice new stadium. It's a fair bet quite a few having a pop at my support wouldn't sully their shoes standing on the terraces of Roker.

Right. So you don't go regularly but you used to go?

If we're talking about the personal connection between players and the fans, it's always going to be easier to develop strong connections if you're actually there isn't it?

I imagine those people who were at the City and Everton games are a lot less cynical when Kaboul and Borini say good things about the supporters than you seem to be...even given the fact that you're a lot more glass half empty than most of us to start with...

Does that make him less of a fan like?

Support comes in many different ways now I suppose mate.

It's up to him if he wants to go. I just know that if I didn't go to every game I wasn't at work for then I'd feel like less of a fan.

And definitely less inclined to slag off people who actually did turn up every game, anyway.

Does not need to explain himself, the fact many question his support when it's a personal reason why he does not go to as many games now as he did previous is disgusting.

What a f***ing fanny.

However, as it's coming from one of the shittest posters on here I'll take that as a compliment.

among others, this quote gave me goosebumps -

" there are no words to describe them any more. Sunderland fans are unreal. The fans won us that game (Chelsea), it is as simple as that.......without them we couldn't win"

:cool::cool::cool:
Overall it has been a pretty horrendous season, but I felt honoured to be part of the crowd in those Chelsea & Everton games. The noise when you watch it back on SKY was amazing, and the feeling within the stadium was something I will never forget. It nearly makes up for the the Norwich, Spurs West Ham, Man City (x2), Southampton, Watford, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Palace, WBA and Leicester games we had to sit through(!)

Fair enough reasoning tbf like, just hits a nerve with me because I can't get to as many games due to work etc ha

That's his choice. In my opinion that makes his opinion of fans that do turn up null and void.

He gets a bizarre kick out of criticising people that actually shell out and watch his team. I just can't fathom it TBH.
So that makes it OK to comment on someone not going and watching on a stream because his old man is not 100% does it?

Has anyone got a link to the Chelsea game from either sky or MOTD? I was away at the time and i've seen the clip from the chelsea section on u tube.Just wondered if anyone had match footage from somewhere

This from the bloke who only started supporting the lads when moved to a nice new stadium? Haway man eddie.
Don't be silly you stupid twat. You claiming you are a lads fan is getting a bit embarrassing now considering you hate everything about the club/fans ect

You never post owt positive about Sunderland so people guessing you are a mag probs isn't far from the truth. Enjoy the Champo Mag :)

Do you seriously not go to the games?

This from the bloke who doesn't go to games but wants a day out at Wembley.
He went to the derby mate  tells you a lot methinks
