Muntari was every inch a Harry signing, following the money, very average when he actually did sign for us considering his reputation.
 


Out of curiosity do you or any of your mates know the freak from the stand that made himself famous for kicking our player last season and what was the general consensus of what happened amongst the Portsmouth fans?

His class did show at times but he was nearly as arsed about playing as Rodwell was for us. In those 7 or 8 games whatever it was he played he got about 4 assists

Nothing against Pompey myself, they as the op states are a traditional working class club that have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own. Sure most of their fans are decent hard working blokes all be it of the Southern softy kind. Obviously hope them that come up don't enjoy the game, but lets hope we are playing each other in the PL in the not too distant future

Correct. Although in general we tried to make a fist of it appointing the so called ideal managers and spending a canny bit it just seemed like it was never gonna happen for 1 reason or another ie bad management leading to relegation battles,not pushing on to that top 10 like everyone wanted. Quite a few good days tho,some great results against the top teams at times, a cup final and obviously the 6 in a row against the mags. Overall a missed opportunity tho

Lived and worked in Pompey, working class town, much like Sunlun....same mix of good people and bellends......
