Forest played Leeds in front of 29,455 there biggest gate of the season, with a chance of getting to within 1 point of the automatic promotion places, Sunderland played Ipswich in front of 33,000 fans in a league lower, with less away fans.
A bit of a silly analogy really
 


I guess that it can only be based loosely on trophy wins since 1970ish. Otherwise, there's absolutely no good reason to consider Forest or Leeds to be huge in comparison to Sunderland. What Sheffield Wednesday have done to be considered bigger than any number of clubs ranked as average is a mystery. I'd guess it was put together by a bairn from North Notts/South Yorkshire that doesn't know his arse from his elbow.
