Jagielkas 34, we already have oshea in that age bracket and just released wesley brown. Strange signing if true, unless hes gonna be part of the coaching staff as well
Jags is a big personality in the dressing room .Still got a couple of years left in him. Again a defender who won't be too stretched due to the way we will set up. I would say he is better technically than JOS as a defender.

Why do people even suggest that our best midfielder would be considered a CB?

Kone is going, so we'll have Papy, Kaboul and O'Shea, with McNair covering CB and CM. Jagielka could be useful maybe at around 3m.

Aye I was surprised. Read more than a few saying he's hopeless at the back, but could be a useful midfielder.

He was playing at the back when UTD were going through the spell of having the best defence in Europe

Obvious mag WUM.
As if we would pay 7 million for a 34 year old. It's interesting who liked your post also.
I've explained it.
7m this year = 3.5 last year. That's how I see it. May be I'm wrong.
He's Everton's captain, their best defender last season and comes with a wealth of experience something you can't buy with money.

7 million though ...........7 million ....more chance of platting snot.
I will categorically say we will not sign Jags for 7 million or even 3 million.
