Morning Stortford. Soldier on mate. I might make some scotch eggs later.
Morning Dilli, so Wakey is basically a pussy
Morning Bish , what time are your zoom calls
Morning BishMorning Hank, morning all
Busy day today in home office so this thread will be the only one I shall be checking, probably not a bad thing after yesterday, all very depressing and can imagine the meltdown going on.
I have 1 call and 2 long zoom meetings so note to self - don't read any posts by @Musicman or @eddtheduck during zoom calls
Now for the important bit, menu du jour will either be salmon in sweet chilli or chicken fajitas depending on whether I have time for a supermarket run.
Have a good day all, stay safe
Sounds a tad harsh, MK, la. Will Kris use a silencer, so as not to disturb the neighbours? Nee fly tipping the corpse, mind....Hi mate...yeah I have to stay positive and as you say slow progress is better than no progress...
I'm expecting this chap from London to come and buy the A4...dont know why but I'm a bit apprehensive about him...Kris is popping back to take him out ...I'm normally a good judge ...but Hmmmm...I'll let you know how it goes mate
It'll be typical, the day you go back the weather will be warming up
I’ve got some photos I took in a shipyard in dalian China when I was over there a few years ago. I’ll show you them next time you’re up. They will make your hair stand on end mate.Morning All,
Not a nice day down here either. Everyone's still safe and well. Quiet day for me after doing a load of stuff yesterday in advance of the choir AGM on Thursday. Another year in the treasurer's job awaits.
@Dilligaf60 , loving the "heath and safety" stuff. I just wish I had some better pictures of the factory near Beijing we visited that made cloisonné enamel work, from the metal founding right through to polishing. Don't think i saw a single pair of goggles there. Beautiful stuff mind Visit Cloisonne Factory, the art of enameling, things to do in Beijing | China Escapade
Meanwhile, a classic:

Still in common use mate, cheap and very strong when constructed properly. It’s when they try to use western scaffolding it gets interesting.I've got a great picture somewhere of the Olympic Stadium in Beijing under construction - swathed in scaffolding, and all of it made of bamboo.
As are incomplete football matches, la. It's even mare nonsensical to "finish" the season using this ludicrous points per game strategem and then go on to "finish" it again by having playoffs! You could drive a coach & horses through this farrago (Wells Farrago?), if ye hed a coach & horses, like. Only two solutions had any intellectual integrity: render the season void, or play it to a finish. The EFL chose neither. I'd love to see someone take the decision before the courts for judicial review or summink. Can't see it happening, though but.Morning Hanky mornen all
NOTS for me
Posting early as having a mental block looking at the screen, problies due to a bad neet. Slept for about an hour which included a dream of my back hurting& T looking at it & saying I’d been bitten - by a leopard
ffs.
Unsurprising news from L1 yestda, a couple of things sprang to mind
* if we had voted to affect our position negatively we’d go apeshit
* Don’t like the fat bassa but feel for P’boro - again we’d go mental if it was us
* totally agree with the void season, incomplete hoss races are voided
Graft, grub & garden for me in the dull weather of TN35
@Musicman - T’s data update from yestda eve - about the same ( few less isolating for others. Interesting thing is that the daily report is becoming alternate days as of today!!
Avvegudden everyone
You too![]()

Fizz you say! I might go in for a box to put aside should I one day decide to climb off the wagon for a bit.Lidl have a great offer on at the moment, btl of Pecorino £3.49. Box of 6 is £21 !!!
It’s pleasant enough a white with a hint of fiz.
Just saying like.
Fizz you say! I might go in for a box to put aside should I one day decide to climb off the wagon for a bit.
For that price I’ll give it a shot anyway mate. I don’t mind an occasional glass of wine but I’m not a huge fan. If I don’t drink it then the kids and the Mrs will put paid to it.Not full-blown fizz mate. Just that little tingly feeling on the tongue you get with some white, like this stuff and vinho verde. Frizzante, I think the Italians call it.
It’s not fiz Dilli, it’s dry white wine with a bit of a fiz. It’s easy going and our lass loves it. I’ve just been and got 12 bottles but I probably won’t drink it or I’ll have the odd bottle as I prefer my wine to be dry.Fizz you say! Yes didn’t see your reply, you are bang on it’s like Vinho Verde but it’s Italian. Not full-blown fizz mate. Just that little tingly feeling on the tongue you get with some white, like this stuff and vinho verde. Frizzante, I think the Italians call it.
I’ll still give it a go. It won’t come in wrong. It’s not fiz Dilli, it’s dry white wine with a bit of a fiz. It’s easy going and our lass loves it. I’ve just been and got 12 bottles but I probably won’t drink it or I’ll have the odd bottle as I prefer my wine to be dry.
In our Lidl it’s not with the rest of the wines it’s in boxes at the end of an aisle. Ask staff where it is.I’ll still give it a go. It won’t come in wrong.
