Jumper on the bridge

Think if it happens n ya witness it with no people there it’ll be very difficult to stand n watch.
Mate of mine aged 42 10 year ago was walking back over to the north side with some cd’s he’d bought n took them out his pocket n jumped over during the day. He’d had issues off being in care homes through all his younger life through parents splitting when really young n left with his alcoholic father.
He was found but was about 2 weeks later up the river.
You always think was there more ya coulda done 🤬

He was a twin n both boys.
His brother ended up in CID for Yorkshire police.
Definitely 2 sides to the coin

Another on the Wearmouth bridge just there. Really sad how often this is happening. Looked like the combo of Police, fire brigade and coastguard had a hold of the person. Hopefully.
