Jumper on the bridge

There’s a site about people who have jumped off the Golden Bridge. It tells the story of several people who jumped. All age ranges different sex etc. the one thing they all had in common was it was completely out of the blue. One person drove over a hundred miles and parked his car on the bridge and calmly climbed over the small railings and jumped.
Can’t find the site at the mo but will try.
Yeah I watched that, it was heartbreaking 💔

There are some truly wonderful people on this board, so kind and thoughtful ♥️
You know, I've commented on this a few times.
I'm not a Sunderland fan (Boro), and don't always agree with some on here (about football), but I have to say that there's so many folk on this board that have a really nice, caring nature.
It's really heartening to read some of the threads where so many people.offer help to folk.

It's got me through some really dark times fella, it's nice to see the place get the recognition it deserves xx

There is plenty of merit in what you say. I always had an automatic FFS when a tube was delayed because of an incident. Extremely callous but it was automatic response.
Not many threatening to throw themselves in front of a train on the tube network, most just do it. I went to a few “one unders” and never went to someone threatening to jump.
Every successful suicide I’ve been to was always going to work. I’ve been to lots that have really tried and failed but by far lots of people who threatening to do so

You're a better human being than some on here mate. Welcome smog monster.

That's exactly what my friend did, far shorter distance but the rest of the scenario was the same, I still wish he had phoned someone, anyone, his lady knew something wasn't right, he left his phone and cash on the kitchen table, and I note saying don't worry I have my wallet with me, how to rationalise that, he had been upbeat that morning, nothing made sense when I tried to work out why.

I’ve posted this before on a similar thread. Well worth a watch

Glad they got them back over, I passed at 2-30 and the police were both sides of the bridge with another car stopped in the middle next to a small silver car.
I was driving over the bridge when that silver car slammed it’s brakes on in front of a bus. I didn’t see what was going on at the time but now it seems they had a good reason to.

Glad everyone is ok.

Glad they got the person down.
To Mirror everyone else on here, if anyone needs a chat or whatever throw me a line or ask for my number , whatever. I don't know any of you personally, but I'm a good listener and will always try help or just chat crap.( I excel at this)..
Went through real dark patch the start of last year, had some serious thoughts about doing something....but, I took it day by day and set myself little goals and timelines....got through it and in a better place thankfully, but bottled up so much...so please don't bottle anything up.

I’ll second this. Suffered massively low self esteem which caused huge problems at the back end of last year and it’s still ongoing now to a point. The goals and timelines thing works wonders but if I have a little setback it’s like the end of the world for me. I’m usually better at giving advice than taking it so always here if someone needs it.
