Judith Durham RIP

Took her stage name from her mother as she may not have been as successful as a solo artist with her birth surname.

After Googling it... I'm not sure about that. It's certainly memorable. Just possibly not the image she might have wanted to portray.

She should have just married Fish from Marillion to get a less provocative surname.

What a voice, what a range, and as smooth as silk...can you imagine having so much talent that you have to make a choice between singer and concert pianist.

RIP my childhood crush.

Was at Tottenham v Sunderland in 1969. Stood on the shelf with a Tottenham supporting mate. Always remember this song by seekers being played, cant remember whether it was pre match or half time.

Its funny how some things stick in your mind. Can't imagine anything like this being played at a football match nowadays

Anyhow we won 1-0 courtesy of a Mike England own goal
