it wouldnt surprise me if they all were tories (baffled people are surprised juan supports the tories of his home country-he is a billioanire ffs..) but charlie has said he finds politics boring and stewart has never made a political statement..
Exactly. Everyone is entitled to their own political beliefs, it shouldn't be an issue to anyone. The only time I would have a problem would be if they had dangerous, extreme, political views (either left or right) and especially if they used our football club as a vehicle to get those views more exposure.
Donald and Methven might vote Tory (if they vote at all), they're entitled to and it would hardly be a surprise, but they certainly don't seem extreme in any way and never comment on politics so that's fine by me. Sartori is obviously more political since he's trying to run for president, but again we've heard nothing "extreme" about him and he isn't using SAFC to push his political opinions so it shouldn't be an issue. Sunderland as a city is obviously more left wing than right, but SAFC isn't a left wing football club, I'm proud of the fact that it is apolitical. As far as possible we should keep politics out of football and certainly, unless they're absolutely mental, someone's political beliefs shouldn't matter a damn to a Sunderland fan
