Enjoying what's happening now is an important part of life.

Unless you take a few chances, in placing your optimism, you end up always waiting for the next stage to happen.

It's like people who can't enjoy life because they're too busy checking their pension and planning the retirement.

Not enjoying the 3rd division because you really want to be in the 2nd, then the PL, then safety, then mid-table, then 'pushing on', etc is endless.

You may as well just enjoy what's happening now imo, endless pessimism/realism is too boring ;)
Well said

I think he's a cert to turn up at Gabrieles at some point. Thus my continuous vigils there over the last couple of weeks. I will, of course, report any developments.

Post of the month.

This may put a few fears to bed, hopefully.

People keep asking questions about Donald's wealth, make up of the ownership, hierarchy, etc, only to find they were barking up the wrong tree.

I suspect the eventual set up will negate many of the questions that have been asked on here.

So much is happening and 99% of it was planned months ago.

I've heard that the 'get Rodwell out' campaign will be resolved soon ..... he's in a 'Short situation' whereby he wants himself out as much as the supporters.

The club are keeping the amount of investment close to their chests until payoffs to him and a few others are concluded.

Exciting times for anyone who chooses to allow themselves to embrace it all.
Good to hear about Rodwell, best just get him off the books and write that whole transfer off as one disastrous debt.

Don't get me started on the Leisure Centre....if I had a spare few million in the bank, I'd buy that patch of land and rebuild it to the original spec :D
Aye Badminton, Tennis, Ice Skating, Baskettball, Boxing, Swimming and Football."Oh those Wednesday night 5-a-side leagues". Not forgetting the Function Rooms upstairs for Weddings and the likes. Another Sunderland Council master stroke

Such a good post that actually

I am 100% guilty of that in my real life.
