It is all exciting. You have to believe otherwise there is little point in supporting SAFC or, in fact, football in general. It’s the hope etc etc ..

Enjoying what's happening now is an important part of life.

Unless you take a few chances, in placing your optimism, you end up always waiting for the next stage to happen.

It's like people who can't enjoy life because they're too busy checking their pension and planning the retirement.

Not enjoying the 3rd division because you really want to be in the 2nd, then the PL, then safety, then mid-table, then 'pushing on', etc is endless.

You may as well just enjoy what's happening now imo, endless pessimism/realism is too boring ;)

Maybe the whole plan could have been to Get Donald lined up by Charlie and get the due diligence done and ownership of the club in his hands which could be done quickly, then for Sartori to come along and buy the club from them once he's been through the process? If it is I bet Short would be seriously pissed off having cleared the debt for a billionaire to come in with a clean slate

Naaah he's just happy to be out

Anyone expecting them to throw money about left right and centre forget it now, he's already said we won't be spending millions on signings, it's about getting value for money and buying players that they think can grow as the club grow! So anyone expecting £3-4-5 million on a striker, not happening!

This may put a few fears to bed, hopefully.

People keep asking questions about Donald's wealth, make up of the ownership, hierarchy, etc, only to find they were barking up the wrong tree.

I suspect the eventual set up will negate many of the questions that have been asked on here.

So much is happening and 99% of it was planned months ago.

I've heard that the 'get Rodwell out' campaign will be resolved soon ..... he's in a 'Short situation' whereby he wants himself out as much as the supporters.

The club are keeping the amount of investment close to their chests until payoffs to him and a few others are concluded.

Exciting times for anyone who chooses to allow themselves to embrace it all.

In my opinion, Sartori (or his associates) could well represent Donald and Methven's exit plan ultimately.
They re-structure the club, get momentum on the pitch with Ross and get us competitive in the Championnship. The next level of investment is the big one but as Burnley have shown, it doesn't have to jeopardise the financial future of the club. At this point Donald takes his well earned profit and becomes the minority investor.

His quote from the Echo suggests a staged involvement for Sartori.
Just a thought.

“He has had a look at a few other opportunities within football and when this first came along I called him and said ‘it is not for straightaway but would you like this? It is going to be a really nice opportunity to have a successful football club, it will be exciting, all the things I would think you would want.’
