Jota

He's a decent player and can play anywhere up front so can cover a few positions. Might mean Brewster going out on loan.

Not one that stands out particularly as a wow signing but neither have their last few.

Very strange signing, Wolves fan on here just the other day says wasnt that good last season

He was in and out of the side but he's only 23 (I thought he was 3 or 4 years older) and will improve. As has been mentioned it probably means that Origi can be sold and Brewster may go out on loan (at which point he might become a fantasy football bargain).

If firminho left and they replaced him with jota that would be a disaster for Liverpool, if firminho goes they need a unselfish tough nut to replace him, someone who holds the ball and does all the shite mane and Salah cannot do

If they signed Jimenez from Wolves and Firmino went, that would make some sense. As it stands, they wouldn't sell Firmino and replace him with someone who doesn't really replace him, like Jota. Firmino is their out and out centre forward, as well as the glue that binds the front three together.

What's Shaqiri done to suggest he's better than Jota?

Scored 9 goals in a Premier League season, which is more than Shaqiri has managed. More pointedly, Shaqiri wants to be the star in the team he plays in, Jota doesn't. TBH, if Salah, Mane and Firmino are fit, neither will be a regular starter.
