Jose Mourinho

After his current gig as Spurs boss is over.

Where do you think he'll go next?

There aren't many top clubs he hasn't been at.

Is he still considered an elite manager or has his cache dropped slightly?
I think the fact he’s gone to Spurs in itself is a sign he’s not seen as one of the elite anymore. His time has been and gone. He’s the name, the myth, the legend now.

No longer a guarantee titles will follow his appointment. Man Utd clearly showed that. And if you cant get Man Utd to challenge the teams now moving the game on because you are wedded to outdated systems you have no chance at Spurs. The money he spent at Old Trafford will never be available at Spurs. And it still was nowhere near enough.
He won the treble there

Everyone has a shelf life it seems, even Mourinho and Wenger. The only manager I’ve seen constantly evolve with the times and continue to be successful for a very long time is Sir Alex.

He was finished at Man United. He'll take the cash in China and then move into international football I reckon. He must know he's done at the top level, his style of football is looking so dated compared to the teams at the top now.

Lots of knee jerk opinions on here with many not knowing the big picture regarding Spurs current woes, along with many other Spurs fans I personally absolutely hate his playing style as well as many of his egotistical ways, but he obviously needs to be given a chance at Spurs with his own players over at least Two transfer windows before making any conclusive judgements regarding his current abilities as a manager.

It is a plain simple fact that José Mourinho has inherited a team that has deteriorated rapidly over the last 18 months or so, there are clearly dressing room issues going on as can be seen with the lack of care passion and fight in many of the players currently, many of the players have fallen off a cliff due to either age burnout or other issues, Spurs basically need an entirely new defence a holding midfielder and a backup striker and they won’t be getting that sorted out in One transfer window that’s for sure.

I can assure you that Klopp or Pep would struggle to get a tune out of this Spurs team at this point in time because many of the players are absolutely done they are either finished or massively out of form, or plain shit.

Mental how far he has fallen since he won the league with Chelsea in his 2nd spell, it all just seemed to fall apart overnight, having said that he still won a fair few trophies for Manure and came 2nd and that was considered a failure, suppose it shows how high he had set the bar when that was classed as a failure. Probably not fair to judge him at Spurs until next season as they have been a mess for a while now, that champions league run where they had every bit of luck in the world getting to the final papered over the cracks.

Spurs over achieved with pochertino in charge , they are and always will be a selling club
Berbatov
Ericsson
Keane
Walker
Trippier
Carrick
All players sold during the levy era, it was obvious the 2 Belgium centre backs didn’t want to be there so instead of backing the manager thy went against him ,
For all the grief Arsenal get ( some of it ott) they are above spurs who have lost 11 games this year
Jose will be gone by Xmas

yet another clueless expert trapping off without having any idea of what he is going on about, so Spurs overacieved for 4 years did they are you really that stupid, no mate we had lots of very good players and an excellent manager and coaching staff as well as fantastic facilities, Carrick, Keane, Berbatov, I guess you forgot about Bale, and Modric, all of those players wanted moves to progress their careers and it also suited Spurs then as selling those players helped to grow the club regarding both the team and its facilities.

Now the parts where you are talking absolute shit, Walker was sold because he fell out with Pochettino that is well documented and the money was good so it suited all, Trippier was sold because he was absolutely shit and a liability in his last season, Eriksen was pissed off because he had been criminally underpaid for years and he basically almost run his contract down, Alderweireld was doing exactly the same thing it was about wages, Vertonghen didn’t want to leave at all he was simply after a longer contract that Spurs were unwilling to offer due to his age and that decision has been proven to be right as he is finished now.

As for your drivel about Spurs always will be a selling club, that is entirely up to Daniel Levy, Spurs are the 8th most valuable football club in the world, Spurs also have the 8th biggest annual turnover in world football , so there is no financial need for Spurs to sell their best players, unless players actually want to go then the club basically has to sell if they are offered the transfer fee that they are asking for.
