Poor signings. They’ve spent a lot of money but their defence is shocking. Spunking 30M or something on the likes of Iwobi is just shambolic. A lot of youth who just aren’t good enough play too often at the back, IMO.

Month’s first save was as bog standard a parry out of the danger area as they come. What made it the talking point it has become was the speed of the recovery and the second save.
Pickford getting a hand to the first shot or not doesn’t massively change the overall factor of how good it was to get where he did and what he did for the second “save”.

It’s all about opinions. The first save as a stand-alone save was very good but you’ll see several of equal or better quality every week.
