Drop Vincent and play Malan at number 3 if Root doesn't fancy it.

he is saying that a lot of personal abuse is being targeted on Bairstow

not just that head butt carry on, but really personal stuff

now what could that be? Willis is calling for the umpires to start stepping in and iirc, is there not a new card system brought in, just this October?

as for this personal abuse, if it's related to you know what, i think England have grounds to pull out of the series

Our own fault. We allow the colonies to play a gentleman’s game.....we might have known we would end up at this point.
 
I think we are jumping the gun about this. If it was about that there's no way it would stay under wraps. i don't believe it for a minute but it did get me thinking of this alleged sledge;

Chris Cairns bowls to Thorpe who plays and misses: Cairns says: "Your shit mate no wonder your lass looked elsewhere"
Cairns bowls again Thorpe plays and misses again: "Jesus mate you are f***ing shit like"
Cairns bowls again same story to which cairns says: "Thorpe mate if you are as bad in bed as you are at batting its no wonder your missus left you"

To which Thorpe then replied:

"Next time your sister walks over a double crossing tell her to look both left and right"

Chris Cairns could not have complaints with the response. Thorpe didn’t cover himself in glory with that retort but if you get personal and scrape the shite from the barrel to try and get the upper hand then you can’t complain when it gets smelly
 
is this what prior was talking about? he mentioned the sledging for obvious reasons its not out in the open

Sledging is a stain on the game. Never heard anything like that at club level and there's plenty of targets out there. Why professional sportsmen feel the need is beyond me. Their legacy is that they'll be remembered as dicks whatever their talent. Maybe those that do so should be reminded of that. Certain Australians have a history of being bad losers and bad winners.
 
If they are insinuating stuff about his dad they should be thoroughly f***ing ashamed of themselves.
