I can't have that at all. They've well overpaid for him and that's why Swansea have sold to relegation rivals Newcastle, far too good an offer to turn down even if it's to a rival.

I think Rodwell was a horrendous piece of business TBH. As does pretty much everyone. The fact that we got our pants taken down its him doesn't make me think Shelvey is a great signing either.

Think that's most of this board! I can not understand anyone doubting his footballing ability. He would improve our midfield remarkably.

He's a tidy player, no doubt. Never really stood out when I've watched Swansea and his attitude has been poor his season by the look of it.

I disagree with the opinion that he's very good though. He wasn't even the best midfielder at Swansea. The fact that they've accepted an offer from relegation rival and there doesn't appear to be any interest from decent teams also makes me think he's over-rated.
