other than Leicester fans? Don't think so. Out of interest how many England Caps has Drinkwater had??? given that he's 2 years older I'd guess that he'll have had a few more than Shelvey.......

Maybe but for £12m I'd want more for my money.

I was shocked to see a stat last week that Arsene Wenger's third most expensive buy since he's been at Arsenal was Santa Cazorla for £16m. To think all the great players Arsenal have had in the last 20 years and their third biggest buy is £16m.

Shelvey at £12m is a known quantity. We know he's a decent PL player but he'll never be good enough for a side with aspirations of doing more than just surviving in this league. I'd much rather my team take a chance on a Kante or Dele Alli type and potentially get it wrong than signing an average PL player.

Maybe.

Think NUFC would've been better off chucking this money towards a couple of a new centre backs like but hey ho, hopefully their back four remains the same for the rest of the season, they'll struggle if so.
