He did though. Something like 32 points in 13 games IIRC (maybe 29 in 12)I think his analysis was reasonable, albeit like every manager he looks through rose tinted glasses.
In my eyes far too much can be made of the LJ v. Parky stats. Parky never had a successful run like the one we've just had, his "tactics" were just safety first, and his interviews were in the main toe-curling. At least LJ is articulate (although whether you accept what he says is another matter).
As for the squad, LJ was not put in funds to do more than tinker with it and it will be interesting to see what he puts together next season (regardless of the division we are in). The current crew are has beens, never will bes, flatterers to deceive, some decent young players and a few outright donkeys. It would take a magician to get them to play consistently well.
In reality we are two post season games from promotion and things may not be as black as they look now.
