John O'Shea for new gaffer

No doubt if O'Shea was the manager we would lose and lose and lose again. Nevertheless, we could look forward to his little skips when an opposition player went past him and scored or when he was found wanting in the air from crosses or corners, or when he was outpace and the opposition scored ... You get my drift! O'Shea was never a leader in the Kevin Ball mould, neither was he a particularly good player for us apart from in his early days. When we often struggled (and that was during most of his time at the SOL), he capitulated, head down along with the best and worst of the players we had.
