A cheeky little 200 grand to be a bench warmer would be difficult to turn down for 6 weeks. He would probably get a game for one of the weaker sides who don,t blow their money on big overseas players and then have to play them.

People are assuming he's available all season but I haven't seen either him or Durham confirm that. IPL auction is Feb. 16 so we'll know for definite then.

At the time I heard Lewis say in an interview that they weren't too sure when he would arrive - which I took to mean that it was possible he'd be delayed by the IPL. I haven't heard anything further on this and I expect we won't know for 10-12 days when the list of auction players is available.
